He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert M. Anderson, Sr. and Marion Whilhelm Anderson; and his daughter Melanie. He is survived by: his wife Beth; his sister Joan Anfinsen (Lenny); his nephews, Drew Anfinsen (Tracy) and Craig Anfinsen of Goldsboro, NC.; and his niece Dawn Anfinsen of Hackettstown, NJ.
Gil is predeceased by their daughter Melanie, who died suddenly during the pandemic on November 10, 2020.
