He was predeceased by: his parents, John Prechtel and Tekla Prechtel; his wife Patricia Ann Prechtel; his son John Prechtel; his sister Annie; and his brother-in-law Michael Baxter.
He is survived by: his sons, William Prechtel (Lauren), Michael Prechtel (Jayne) and Robert Prechtel; his grandchildren, Brittney Mangieri (Travis), Lauren Mangieri, Scott Mangieri (Haley), Christine Prechtel, Danny Prechtel (Kayla), Hayley Prechtel, Justin Prechtel and Jordan Prechtel; his great grandchildren, Luke, Lenahan, Caiden Garner and Brooke Mangieri; and his sister Louise Baxter. He is also survived by his family and friends.
