He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Marie Asprea Belknap; and his grandson Joseph Belknap. He is survived by: his children, William E. Belknap, Jr. of Montgomery, NY, Warren Belknap (Allen) of Coxsackie, NY, Stephen Belknap (Valerie) of Chester, NY, Louise Oritz (Roberto) of Monroe, NY and Jane Belknap of Lake Huntington, NY; his brother Walter French (Vivian) of Greenwich, NY; his grandchildren, Ray Oritz, John Contreas and Sara Belknap; and also Christine Belknap. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
