It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vito Di Spigna (Monroe, New York), who passed away on August 27, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Anna, Aniello, Giuseppe, Salvatore, Gaetano, Pasquale, Michele and Ernando.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Maureen Gibson of Monroe, NY; his daughters, Marianne Purcaro (Michael) of Lincoln Park, NJ, Francine Di Spigna of Monroe, NY, Laurette Hakar (Steven) of Framingham, MA and Gina Di Spigna of Mattapoisett, MA; his siblings, Vanda Regine of Staten Island, NY, Luigi Di Spigna of Monroe, NY, Antonio Di Spigna of Brooklyn, NY and Umberto Di Spigna of Brooklyn, NY; and his grandsons, Ralph Foglia III, Michael Vito Foglia, Matthew Hakar and Adam Hakar (Lillian Di Spigna). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.
For the safety of all, the family requests that all attendees, regardless of vaccination status, please wear face masks at the funeral home and church.
