She was predeceased by: her parents, Severiana Polanco Cortes and Puerto Rico; her former husband Daniel Munoz Sr.; and her siblings, Angelo Cortes, Luis Cortes, Maria Cortes Sanchez and Odulia Cortes.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Munoz of Monroe, NY, Judith Garcia (Freddy) of Monroe, NY and Yolanda Rodriquez (Carlos) of Bronx, NY; her sisters, Matilda Cortes of New York, NY and Pura Cortes of Bronx, NY; and her grandchildren, Daniel III, Julian, Denise, Jeniece, Jessica, Jasmine, Mark, Maite, Melody, Matthew and John. She is also survived by her eleven great grandchildren.
