He was predeceased by: his parents, George I. Smith and Veronica Beams Smith; his son Thomas M. Smith, Jr.; and his brother Stephen Smith. He is survived by: his children, Kevin M. Smith of Monroe and Jennifer L. Buenau (Michael) of Monroe; his siblings, George Smith of Monroe, David Smith of Monroe, Cheryl Smith of St. Louis, Valerie Rose of Monroe and Margaret DeGrote of Highland Mills; and his grandchildren, Michael, Jr., William, Thomas and Kayla. He is also survived by nieces, nephews & cousins.
