He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrietta Nunes (Cunha) and Manuel Nunes; his wife Eileen Sheleg; and his sisters, Mary Cimino and Priscilla "Bunny" Sinatra.
He is survived by: his child Michele; and his son-in-law Jerry Gaudreau of Emerson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Chapel (160 Orange Ave, Suffern, NY 10901). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (129 Lafayette Ave, Suffern, NY 10901). A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ascension Cemetery (650 Saddle River Rd, Airmont, NY 10952).
