He is survived by: his parents, Robert Nelson and Angelyn Nelson (Kelley); his wife Sandy of Washingtonville, NY; his sister Kerry Nelson (Julio Cisneros) of Long Beach, CA; his nephew Ben Cisneros; his fiancée Debbie Mercurio; his partner's children, Jenna and Joe; and his grandchildren, Brendan and Mia.
