With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen P. Bachorik (Monroe, New York), born in Donaghmoyne, Ulster, who passed away on November 20, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Bachorik; and her brothers, Liam and Bernard Rooney. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Bachorik (Patricia Tully) of Warwick, NY, Patricia Montalbano (John) of Hewitt, NJ and Theresa Carey (Bernie) of Middletown, NY; her siblings, Thomas Rooney of Palm Coast, FL, Patrick Rooney of New City, NY, Noel Rooney of Ireland, Tony Rooney of Ireland, Brendan Rooney of Ireland, Ann Flannery of Bethpage, NY, Phyllis Boyle of Ireland, Margaret Lennon of Ireland and Mary Christina Rooney of France; and her grandchildren, Violet, Holly, Daniella, Joseph, Thomas and Katelin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“To Stephen and Patrica, Patricia and John, Teresa and Bernie, our deepest sympathies on Kitty's passing. Kitty is now with Liam, Bernard, Mam and Dad and Uncle Vincent of whom Kitty was very fond of since she spent part of her childhood there. I am sure they are all have a great laugh as they did many times when they met years ago at home. A trip to Vin's home place was Kitty's first item to do when she came home. From Brendan, Maureen and Family, Aoife, Conor and Niall.”
