With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine M. Lacatena (Monroe, New York), born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on January 13, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabriele Palmieri and Concetta Del Vecchio Palmieri; her husband Angelo LaCatena; her brother Tony Palmieri; her son Generoso "Gino" LaCatena; and her grandson Dante LaCatena.
She is survived by: her children, Martin LaCatena (Edy) of Pine Bush, NY, Joseph LaCatena (Regina) of Mountaindale, NY, Carmela Ammirati (Michael) of Huntsville, AL and Angela Howard (Alexander) of Huntsville, AL; her grandchildren, Martin, Janelle, Jarod, Stephanie, Jessica and Joseph; and her great grandchildren, Dominic, Nicholas and Tyler.
