He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Mongelli and Jean Mongelli; his wife Catherine; and his grandsons, Salvatore J. Spalletta and Joseph Robert Anthony Mongelli.
He is survived by: his siblings, Louis, Robert Mongelli and Barbara Ammons; his children, Lisa Pirraglia (Anthony), Anthony J. Mongelli and Erica Mongelli-Spalletta (Gerard); and his grandchildren, Samantha, Anthony, Gina, Michael, Vincent, Angela and Giavanna.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anastasia Cemetery (21 N Main St, Harriman, NY 10926).
