He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Marguerite Leonard McAssey, Sr.; and his brother Thomas McAssey. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann McAssey of Monroe, NY; his children, Christopher McAssey (Joy Marie) of Wurtsboro, NY, Patrick McAssey of Monroe, NY, Colleen Carroll (Robert) of Warwick, NY and Karen McAssey-Smith (Bernard) of Monroe, NY; his sisters, Patricia Blinn of Ronkonkoma, NY, Anne Moon of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY and Kathy Rankel of Middle Island, NY; and his grandchildren, Sean, R. J., Dylan, Ryan and Olivia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
