He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard "Ben" Berkowitz and Anne Perlman Berkowitz. He is survived by: his wife Shirley of Monroe; his daughters, Ellen Berkowitz Makow (Steven) of Poughkeepsie, NY and Amy Berkowitz of Goshen, NY.; and his grandchildren, Rianna and Carson Makow. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.
