He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward DeForest and Emily DeForest; his wife Florence; and his granddaughter Julie. He is survived by: his children, Edward DeForest (Denise) of Brown Mills, NJ, Tom DeForest (Lori) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Terence DeForest (Lisa) of Biddeford, ME and Susan Mullan (Brendan) of Monroe, NY; his brother Donald DeForest of Staten Island, NY; and his grandchildren, Thomas of Brittany, TJ, Nick, Erin, Matthew and John.
