He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Burns and Thomas Burns; and his sister Geraldine. He is survived by: his significant other Clare Burns; his grandson James Burns (Jill); his children, Samantha and Thomas Burns (Laura); his grandchildren, Declan, Erica and Christopher Burns (Wendy); his great grandchildren, Aidan, Elena, Keira, Gracie and Kevin Burns (Lori); and also, Riley, Jack, Patrick Burns (Denise), Brendan and Harper. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
