He was predeceased by: his parent Abad Cabassa. He is survived by: his wife Danette Ortiz Cabassa; his mother Frances Rivera of Harriman, NY; his children, David Matthew Cabassa, Devin Marie Cabassa of Highland Mills and David Anthony Ortiz of Bronx, NY; his siblings, Esther Cabassa-Dewoody of Newton, NJ and Noel Cabassa of Pomona, NY; his half-siblings, Abby Cabassa of Kentucky, Danny Cabassa of Ledgewood, NJ, Joseph Cabassa of Atlanta, GA and Maria Cabassa of Kissimee, FL; and his grandchildren, Alina, Joel and Evan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
