He was predeceased by: his parent Peter Smith. He is survived by: his parent Mary Hendry Smith; his wife Elizabeth Chiarini Smith of Monroe, NY; his children, Peter J. Smith of Monroe, NY and Cynthia E. McHugh (Michael) of Monroe, NY; and his granddaughter Ashley E. McHugh.
