She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Cavanagh and Elizabeth Simonetti Cavanagh; her husband Howard H. Carmichael; and her son-in-law Paul Benjou. She is survived by: her children, Linda Darrer (Michael) of Surfside Beach, SC, Barbara Benjou of Monroe, NY, Thomas Carmichael (Ann) of Levittown, NY, Diane Quaranta (John) of Middletown, NY and Elaine Smith (Tracy) of Monroe, NY.; her grandchildren, Christian, Candace, Jason, Nicole, Adam, Justin, Ryan, Tara, Jenna, Tessa and Colton; and her great grandchildren, Jeremy Paul, Nicholas, Kaylee, Zackary, Brendan, Milania and Jaxon. She is also survived by her children, but their best friend.
