He is survived by: his parents, Elwin French and Ruth French (Fountain); his wife Nancy; his sons, Richard French (Bunny) of Moira, William French, Jr. of Moira, George French (Tara) of North Bangor and Edward French (Jean) of North Bangor; and his siblings, Morris French, Lloyd French and Joan of Brandon. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
