He was predeceased by: his daughters, Sheila Fitzsimmons and Vicky Maloney; his siblings, Richard Fitzsimmons and Mary Clary; and his grandson Shawn Fitzsimmons.
He is survived by: his son Rickey; his daughter-in-law Karen Fitzsimmons of Brushton, NY.; his daughters, Gloria Christian (Richard) of Blasdell, NY., Donna Winters (Darius) of North Bangor, NY. and Tammy Fitzsimmons of Bombay, NY.; his son-in-law John Maloney of Brushton, NY.; and his sister Roberta Horton of Columbia, SC.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins and his cat.
Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery, in Brushton, NY., Donations may be made in his memory to the Alice Ballard Fund of Hospice of the North Country, Inc. in Malone, NY.
