He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Doris; and his pets, Leo and Nemo. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his son Andrew; and his siblings, Wendy, David (Linda) and Mark (Carol). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Kidney Fund, American Cancer Society, St. Jude, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
