He is survived by: his wife Denise Awerdick; his children, Lauren Awerdick-Green, Melissa Awerdick and Hayley Awerdick; his grandchildren, Christopher Washington, Olivia Sweat and Stella Sweat; and his sons-in-law, Garvey Green, Jason Washington and Robert Sweat.
