He is survived by: his wife Christy Kapes; his son Johnathen Kaples; his in-laws, Deborah and Ronald DeRocher; his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth, Chris Matthie, Andrea (Jim Rende), Jessica (Daryl O'Conner), Tracy DeRocher and Terri (John Cronin); and his nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn, Andrew Matthie, Faith, Jarred Price, Jaide, Hope Rende, Thomas, Ethan, Paige O'Conner, Kara, Kaylee Broderson, Gabriel DeRocher and William Cronin. He is also survived by three siblings.
