He was predeceased by: his father John. He is survived by: his mother Audrey "Peachy"; his brothers, John S. "Chuck" DeRosa (Bonnie) of Mohawk, David DeRosa of Schenectady, NY, Tim DeRosa and Jody Phillips of Mohawk; his niece Sara Jones (Greg) of Ilion; and also, Emma R. Johnson, Brady T. Johnson, Sydney Rose Jones and Schyler Rae Jones. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations are considered to the Mohawk American Legion.
