He is survived by: his wife Antoinette "Annette" Vertullo; his children, Sandra Johnson (Michael), Joy Silvestri of Georgia, Dawn Wager (Robert Sr.) of Modena, NY and John Laskowsky III (Rhonda) of Florida; his stepsons, George Ruger of Modena, NY, James Ruger (Christine) of Virginia and Robert Ruger (Mellisa) of Clintondale, NY; his grandchildren, Ashley Nordahl (Kurtis) of Modena, Robert Wager Jr. of Modena, NY, Jessica Carney (Patrick) of Middle Grove, NY, Corinn Bennett (Michael) of Georgia, Mary Szymanski of Florida, Daniel Szymanski (Sarah) of Florida, Robert Szymanski of Florida, Emma, Matthew, Isabelle and Anthony Ruger; his great grandchildren, Roxas, Azlyn Bennett, Zakary, Lukas Nordahl, Felix Carney and Riley Szymanski; and his brother James Laskowsky of Florida.
