Confesora Hernandez Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Confesora Hernandez of Modena, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Confesora left this world on April 18, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Hernandez and Inosencia Hernandez (Hernandez); and her siblings, Juan Hernandez, Angel Luis Hernandez, Josefa Ocasio, Amada Hernandez, Esther Crespo and Julia Hernandez.

She is survived by: her children, Carlos Toro of Brooklyn, Edgar Esteves of Newburgh, Rosa Medina of Buffalo, Vivian Toro and Carmen Cintron of Modena; and her sister Anna Brunet of Puerto Rico. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and God children.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White, Venuto & Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service (188 N Plank Rd, Newburgh, NY 12550). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (1250 State, Rt. 32, Plattekill, NY 12568).
