We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2022, at the age of 92, Zelma W. Elko of Minoa, New York, born in Syracuse, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Wolf and Nellie Wolf; her husband John F. Elko; and her sisters, Helen Ezzo and Henrietta Dailey.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Elko (David Denmat) and John "Jay" Elko (Mary Beth); her granddaughter Meseret Elko; her brother-in-law Arnold Dailey; her nephews, Timothy Ezzo, Jeffrey Dailey and Craig Dailey; and her friends, Barb Crossett, Melissa Durantini, Maureen Smith and Kathy Staub.
Donations in her memory may be made to Wanderers Rest Humane Association, Inc., Canastota, NY where she adopted her beloved companion, Charlie.
