He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois M. Brophy (Kilmer) and Robert C. Brophy; his wife Frances Brophy (Angotti); his son Timothy Brophy; and his siblings, Carol Mooney and David Brophy.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Brophy Lane and Robert Brophy (Pattie); his granddaughters, Melissa Vroman (Fred) and Ashley Lane; and his sister Lois Brophy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
