With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosario Joseph Zappala of Minoa, New York, born in Fulton, New York, who passed away on September 3, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosaria Zappala and Rosario Zappala; and his sisters, Josephine Davis and Verna Pratt. He is survived by: his wife Patricia M. Carhart; his sister Mary Hundycz; his children, Kathleen Perry (Jeffrey), Thomas Zappala (Denise), Joseph Zappala (Billy Kepner) and Mary DeFreitas (Jack); his grandchildren, Shannon Shaw (Albert), Nathan Zappala (Samantha), Lydia Kurt (James) and Ashley DeFreitas; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Christian, Matthew Shaw, Oliver and Graham Kurt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Central New York.
