He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walsh and Elizabeth Walsh. He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his daughters, Mary Greiner (Bob), Ellie Walsh and Kate Walsh; his grandchildren, Kristin, Gretchen Greiner, Megan Bird and Patrick Prusik; and his great grandchildren, Brian and Sean Bird. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
