She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Laconte and Helen Laconte. She is survived by: her significant other Jack Hargett; her son Robert A. Valvik; and her siblings, Madeline Laconte and Joseph LaConte. She is also survived by her sons and Michelle Hargett as a daughter and their children thought of her as a grandmother.
