It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger A. Schiller of Mineola, New York, who passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schiller and Alice Schiller; his wife Patricia; his brother Paul; his parents-in-law, David and Eleanor Miller; and his brother-in-law James Miller.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Fischer (Sam) and Susanne Schiller (John); his grandchildren, Lauren Richard (Kenny) and Christopher Fischer (Erin); his cousins, Nancy Burke (Jerry) and Richie Guarelia (Janis); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Schiller, Mary Miller and David Miller (Anne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weigand Brothers Funeral Home (49 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park, NY 11596). A prayer was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 9:45 AM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
