She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas Nowak; her husband Henry; and her son Stephan. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Olga; and her children, H. Gary Zgutowicz (Pamela), Carolyn Amon (Robert) and Sandra Wenthen (Lawrence). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Veterans Association, St. Jude or the Humane Society.
