He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Sofia Oviedo of Sanchez and Aristobulo Oviedo, Sr.; and his siblings, Fredy and Mery. He is survived by: his spouse Dioselina Rodriguez; his children, Janet, Abner, Saul and Sandra; his grandchildren, Joslynne, Nicholas, Andaria, Aidan, Rylan, Ella, Olivia, Ari, Bryce, Kaylen, Lilah, Brayden, Kaleb and Kiarra; his great grandchild Spencer; and his siblings, Daniel, Arit, Edgar, Juan Carlos, Lilian, Nancy, Nerieth, Carmen, Sofia, Isaura, Mirian and Verónica.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartnett Funeral Home (561 Jerusalem Ave, Uniondale, NY 11553). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the same location.
