He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McCoy and Gertrude McCoy; and his sister Edith McCoy. He is survived by: his fiancé Laurie Thorpe; his children, Adam M. McCoy, Daniel J. McCoy and Faith McCoy; his stepdaughter Katrina Brienza; and his brother Tommy McCoy (Jamie McCoy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
