He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Allington and Mildred Allington (Campbell); his daughter Jill Louise; his son-in-law James Carrier; his brothers, Mike, Walter and William; and his wife Joyce.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Hugg Smith (Tom) of Elmira, Susanne Carrier of Horseheads and Debra Sano (Vincent) of Vestal, NY; his grandchildren, Michael, Eric (Angela), James and Karen (Adam); his great grandchildren, Lia, Ali and Noah; his brothers, Raymond and Richard Allington (Vivian); and his brother-in-law Joseph Comfort (Carol) of Horseheads. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
