We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2020, at the age of 56, Rand Krakenberg of Millerton, New York, born in Sleepy Hollow, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Krakenberg and Nancy Vernetta Hamilton. He is survived by: his close friend Barbara L. Reeves; his siblings, Deborah Wilkerson (Bill Haviland) of Millerton, Carol Lang of Carmel, NY and Claude Krakenberg of Hopewell Junction, NY; his nephews, Shannon Clark, Tony Clark of Millerton and Chris Wilkerson (Heather) of Copake; his cousins, Heather Besze and Neal Hamilton; and also Chaneen J. Reeves of Millerton. He is also survived by one niece; six great nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the local chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous.

“I knew Randy, because Barb is my closest friend, and because back in the day, Barb, Debbie (his sister) and I all hung out together....I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences go out to all those family & friends who are still (I'm sure) missing him. He was a very kind hearted person. He was always around when you needed a helping hand......I know he helped me out with my vehicle many times back in the day.....He's with God now...Rest in Peace Randy!!!”
