With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Douglas Hill Sr. (Millerton, New York), born in Amenia, New York, who passed away on February 22, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Hill and Mildred Hill (Carl); his former wife Helen Hill; his son Russell Hill; and his brothers, Kenneth, Porter and Gilbert Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Hill, Margaret Hill of Virginia, Marvin D. Hill, Jr. of Poughkeepsie, Wakeitha Kunze of Boston and Johnetta Lafond (Hashim) of California; his sisters, Fredericka Parker of Poughkeepsie and Barbara Young of Princeton, NJ; his sister-in-law Jeannine C. Hill (Beth Rhodes) of Greenwich, NY; and his friend Kate King. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
