She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Crawford and Lydia Johnson; her former husband Sam Kaplan; and her brother Thomas Crawford. She is survived by: her husband Sanford Kaplan (Sam); her sons, Lorin Stapleton (Mary Stapleton) of Brewster, NY and Brian Stapleton of Sandisfield, MA; her granddaughters, Bridget Stapleton of Jersey City, NJ and Colleen Stapleton of Boston, MA; her sister-in-law Susan Crawford; her nephew David Keys (Barbara); and her niece Susan Jenkins (Rick Herring).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Scott D. Conklin Funeral Home (37 Park Ave, Millerton, NY 12546). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (76 Sharon Rd, Lakeville, CT 06039).
