We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2022, at the age of 105, Katherine Grace Disbrow of Millerton, New York, born in Mount Kisco, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sands and Mabel Sands (Hyatt); her husband Frederick E. Disbrow; her siblings, Hilda Sands and Douglas Sands of Millerton; her children-in-law, Raymond Schienda and Elizabeth Disbrow; and her granddaughter Samantha Neil.
She is survived by: her children, Katherine J. Schienda of Millerton and Frederick Disbrow of North Carolina; her siblings, Donald Sands (Eva) of Meriden, CT, Mabel Colt (Carlisle) of Southington, CT and Edna Neubauer (Raymond) of Forestville, CT.; and her grandchildren, Karen Cooke (Joe) of Valatie, NY, Robin Neil (Doug) of Rexford, NY and Sherri (Paul Mier). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
