John J. Rafferty Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Rafferty and Rita Rafferty (Haverty); and his wife Dorothy. He is survived by: his children, Laura Benko (Mike), John Rafferty (Patricia), Lynda Rivas (Frank) and Joseph Rafferty (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Danielle Benko-Aguallo (Edward), Nicole Otte (Matt), Michael Benko (Gabriela), Erin Matsen (Drew), Frank Rivas (Allison Francis), Alexandria Rivas (Chris Isaacs) and Patrick Rafferty (Lari Arasin); his great grandchildren, Paxton, Remy, Kaia, Madelyn, Molly, Nora and Mica; and his brother Gerald Rafferty.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Homes (8063 NY-22, Copake, NY 12517). A Mass will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Hope Parish (New York 22, Copake Falls, NY).
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name may be made to the Hillsdale VFW Post 7552, PO Box 10, Hillsdale, NY 12529 or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
