He is survived by: his children, Laura Benko (Mike), John Rafferty (Patricia), Lynda Rivas (Frank) and Joseph Rafferty (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Danielle Benko-Aguallo (Edward), Nicole Otte (Matt), Michael Benko (Gabriela), Erin Matsen (Drew), Frank Rivas (Allison Francis), Alexandria Rivas (Chris Isaacs) and Patrick Rafferty (Lari Arasin); his great grandchildren, Paxton, Remy, Kaia, Madelyn, Molly, Nora and Mica; and his brother Gerald Rafferty.
