He is survived by: his pet ZooZoo; his close friend Anna Spadaccini of Millerton; his brother David Sears (Carolyn Adkins) of Hinton, WV; his children, Derek Sears of Ancramdale, Brett Sears of Millerton, Maura Sears (Bill Hosier) of Copake, Abigail Sears of Hillsdale and Charlene Sears of Millerton; his grandchildren, Noah "Monk" Sears, Austin Sherman, Audrey Wagoner, Declan Hosier and Riley Hosier; his great-niece Sarah McGuire; and his grandchildren, Haley and Cicely.
