He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Maillet and Marie (Poirier); his daughter Anne Marie Maillet; and his brothers, Thedious Poirier (Joan) of Nova Scotia and Donald Maillet of Fayetteville, NC..

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Ann Dietter; his children, Kris Maillet of Millerton, Frank Maillet (Kristin) of Dover Plains, NY and Denise Manfro of New Fairfield, CT; his grandchildren, Jaxon, Madison Manfro of New Fairfield and Karl Maillet of Dover Plains; his stepgranddaughters, Alexis and Lily Gagnon of Dover Plains; and his brothers, Bernie Ross (Joan) of Cambridge, Moses "Tony" Maillet (Mary) of Amenia, NY and Mark Maillet (Sharon) of Inverness, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
