It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edna Sophia Johnson of Millerton, New York, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Heck and Henrietta Heck (Fritz); her husband John Joseph Johnson; and her sister Margaret Costello. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Brown (Joseph), Patricia Daggett (Robert), Joanne Haggerty (Michael McNamara) and Jack Johnson (Gale). She is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews.

While living in Leisure Village East during retirement, she was a volunteer ambulance driver and did quilting and crocheting for charity.
