He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert N. Silvernail and Florence Silvernail (Parmalee); and his sister Isabel Corbett. He is survived by: his wife Joan (DeWitt); his son Robert; his sister Joan Schuster; his sister-in-law Jean DeWitt; his niece Terry Young; and his nephews, Michael DeWitt, Alan DeWitt (Brenda), David VandeBogart (Patti), David Corbett and Peter Corbett.
