It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence DiPalma of Miller Place, New York, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Antaki. He is survived by: his children, Mary Ellen, Michael (Suni), Evamarie (Edward Fontana) and Patrick; his grandchildren, Robert (Jessica), Stephen (Jennifer), Karen, Melanie (Josh) and Maleah; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Ryan, Skylar, Katey, Danielle, Lillian and Sophia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O. B. Davis Funeral Homes (1001 Rte 25A, Miller Place, NY 11764). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Saint Anthony's of Padua Church (614 NY-25A, Rocky Point, NY 11778). A committal service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Calverton National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests in Larry's memory, as was often done for him, buy a veteran a meal, pay for their groceries, perform a random act of kindness or donations can be made to St. Anthony of Padua Food Pantry.
