With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie M. Russ of Miller Place, New York, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on July 5, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband George K. Russ; her children, Jeanne Danowski (James), George (Nevin) and Barbara Mitarotondo (Bill); her grandchildren, Matthew, Timothy, Amanda, Brian and Samantha; and her great grandchild Matthew Jr..
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mather Hospital or Christ Episcopal Church on Barnum Avenue in Port Jefferson.
