She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Kelly and Dorothy Murphy Kelly; her husband John J. Hughes; her daughter Katherine Anne Shelburne; her grandson Thomas J. Hughes; and her brothers, John, Robert, Michael and James Kelly.

She is survived by: her children, John J. Hughes, Jr. (Anna), Thomas M. Hughes, Patricia Barnes (Brad) and Kelly Hughes; and her grandchildren, John J. Hughes, III, Joseph E. Hughes, Michaela Barnes, Kelsey Barnes, Caitlin Shelburne, Kelly Shelburne and Alexander Shelburne.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Alzheimer's Association.
