She was predeceased by: her parents, James Barney Brandow and Agnes Whaley; her spouse F. Haines O'Hara; her former husband Richard Murphy, Sr.; her son Richard Murphy, Jr.; her siblings, Teddy Brandow and Agnes Tink; and her close friends, Yvonne "Pat" Lakin and Terry Igoe.
She is survived by: her children, George Murphy (Michele) of Amenia, Teddy Murphy (Pearl) and Sandra Brownell (James) of Millbrook; and her siblings, Rose Hennessey (James) of Florida, Stewart Brandow of New Jersey and Robert Brandow (Shirley) of Florida. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Memory of Lorraine may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
