He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence D. Platt and Alice Platt (Horn); his siblings, Don Platt and Evelyn Platt; his niece Becky Platt; and his nephew Daryl Platt.
He is survived by: his sister Alice Roseboom (Don) of Georgia; his sister-in-law Gloria Platt of Georgia; and his close friend Onyx. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
